To local teams, clubs, organizations:
A Clear Lake Days/Reunion Event is being planned for July 28,29,30, 2023. The event will be bringing a large
crowd of people into our community for the activities planned for the weekend. This would be an excellent
opportunity for your team, club, or organization to hold a funcfraiser for your group. We are looking for
groups to hold food booths for this event on both Friday and Saturday of that weekend.
The food booths/serving areas could be set up in several different locations on main street on the Friday
and/or Saturday of that weekend. You would oversee your booth as far as food, tables, set-up, workers, and
serving, etc.
The committee would like to know by March 1,2023, if you are planning to hold a fundraiser food booth that
weekend. And if possible, please let us know what type of food you plan on serving, the day and time you
are serving, and who would be the contact person for us to work with. We are currently contacting the local
restaurants in town to get their input on their plans for the weekend. Our plan is to bring in food trucks that
weekend to also help serve the crowds that will be here. Please keep in mind that if you are needing
supplies (buns, water bottles, condiments, pops, chips) it is advised to contact Maynard's or other businesses
in town as soon as your plans are made so that they can be prepared for the extra supplies needed.
We are in the planning stages for activities to occur throughout the 3 days. We hope you will join us in these
activities and at the same time benefit your organization by hosting a fund raiser food booth. This could
include anything from a meal, lemonade stand, ice cream sundaes, or candy booth! The creative ideas are
welcomed and encouraged! Please contact Dianne Brandt, Lisa Olerud, Kerry Hintz, or any of the members
on the Clear Lake Days/ Reunion Days Committee.
Please know that we would appreciate it if you would get in touch with us by the date listed above. We
understand that plans may change but it will give us an idea of what groups are planning to participate.
We will also be asking for volunteers and assistance in the activities for the weekend. We realize that for an
event this large to succeed we will need many hands involved community wide. Several of the activities will
require help with setup, supervising kid activities, face painting, etc. We welcome all volunteers! This is an
excellent opportunity for students or individuals to fulfill community volunteer hours that can be used for
.community service requirements.
Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
